We enjoyed a pleasant weekend at Dancing Bears Camp on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Well, the weather wasn't all that pleasant, but the company, dancing and music was awesome. We managed to play the zwiefachers quite well. Bu the highlight for me was dancing to the music of of High Lonesome Sound, while Brian DeMarcus called some amazing dances at the "OMG" workshop.

Finally got out on my bicycle. Our yard is a mess, and there are still patches of snow. But it is melting steadily. Rhubarb is pushing up through the soil. Jeff Loenfels says not to rake until we get a nice heavy rain, otherwise it is unhealthy to breathe all the nasty dusty stuff on the surface of your lawn. I'm good with that.

We enjoyed many great sessions during the last month with special guests at our session including Mick Molone and Dana Lyn who did a little tour around the state. Also, (more recently) the lovely fiddler Kate Reicher.

Jubilee is going to play out at Dance Camp again, but instead of hambos we are going to play for a zwiefacher workshop. I have no idea what that is but I guess we'll find out! Thank goodness Shonti can read music.

Hot diggidy. There's a whole lotta meltin' goin' on. Had some fabulous St. Pat gigs, and attended a women's retreat at Birchwood Camp. Here comes the sun. Yay.
