Have you seen the new Dena'ina Civic & Convention
Center? Wow! It's very impressive. Jim and I had a chance
to play for their grand opening on October 18th. There were
3 stages set up, and many many people coming through.
Got
some new gigs coming up this month, at the Tap Root, the
Museum, and downtown Tree Lighting. I have 2 trips planned;
one in December to see family in Connecticut, and
a trip to Hawaii with Jim in February.

I have a brand new bicycle, and it
is awesome. My old bike, which was on its last legs and being
held together in a few places with duct tape, took me to
work enough times all summer that I probably saved enough
gas money for this new bike. But now it is too dark and cold
in the morning to ride to work. But I'll be ready for Spring!
I have been raking a lot of leaves, and hope to come close
to getting them all off the lawn before it snows. Found some
bear scat right outside the kitchen window.
I finished work on the cover and page layout for Dianne Barske's
new book, "How Do You Say Goodbye to an Elephant." It
has been sent to press and should be in the stores by November.
