The new concertina CD is progressing wonderfully, and we are excited.

The CD will be called "Laptop" and hopefully will be released this Spring.

Looking ahead to next month: the Anchorage Folk Festival, and Haggis Basher's Ball . . . I'm making plans to play for both in the latter part of January.

Aaargh!!! Jim and I became pirates for the Dancing Bears Halloween Dance; we also wore the costumes to a party we attended right after a recording session with Don Morrell (who took this photo in his studio).

Oct. 3, 2006

We have several gigs coming up this month and next. I'm looking forward to a trip up north to play Irish music with Richard and John in Fairbanks and Cantwell Oct. 12 & 13. As a result of this, Jubilee is playing for Dancing Bears in November instead of October (contrary to the DB newsletter). Jim and I continue to work on the concertina CD, thanks to Don Morrell's expert engineering.
